Computer & Software General Division

 The Computer & Software General Division was founded In September 2001 as a division from the Egyptian General Federation Chamber of Commerce with a board for 4 years  to be reelected. The general assembly members are more than 350 from all computer companies working in Egypt.

The General Division represents more than 5500 Computer & Software Companies which covers all Computer &  Software divisions' services  in all Governorates

The General Division aim during its current session as follows:-

• programs to support capacity building in coordination with donors and supporters
• Organize promotional campaigns, conferences and exhibitions to travel throughout Egypt
• activate the agreements with the Information Technology Industry Development
• Work to raise the general sales tax software for devices like
• Provide technical training, managerial and marketing for companies and their employees
• the establishment of conciliation and reconciliation committees and a mechanism for arbitration between companies and each other
• Building strong relationships and effectively with the media and press
• Adopt a printed version of the community speak on behalf of companies computers
• Building an electronic portal, recorded by the statements of all members
• new initiatives along the lines of PC for Every Home
• Activating the role of the subdivisions in the provinces
• working closely with local civil society organizations work and interact with their counterparts worldwide
• Work to facilitate the establishment of computer companies and the issuance of security clearances
• regulate the sale and purchase of computers all over the Egyptian market
